Garlic Butter Roasted Salmon
A quick weeknight dinner with crispy-edged salmon in a garlicky brown butter sauce.
A weeknight staple: ready in half an hour, mostly hands-off, and dressed up with a brown butter and garlic sauce that tastes far fancier than the effort it takes.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Roast the salmon for 12-15 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon roasts, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat until it turns golden and smells nutty, about 3 minutes.
Stir the garlic into the browned butter and cook for 30 seconds, then remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and top with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Swap the parsley for dill if you have it on hand — it pairs just as well with the lemon and garlic.
Storage
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out the fish.
